California city goes wireless

Mountain View, Calif.-based MetroFi announced the initial rollout of a citywide, Wi-Fi network in Concord, Calif. The first phase of the network deployment covers 10.5 square miles, spans more than 60% of the developed areas and includes more than 250 access points, according to the company.
