School district deploys WLAN

The School District of Philadelphia installed wireless local area networks (WLAN) provided by Meru Networks and Avaya. The school district’s WLAN provides access to converged data, voice and video application services in almost 268 schools serving more than 166,000 students and 10,000 teachers, according to the companies.
