Ill. hospital deploys wireless utility

Naperville, Ill.-based Edward Hospital and Health Services will install InnerWireless' medical-grade wireless utility in four of its facilities in Illinois. The system supports wireless coverage for multiple applications and devices, such as pagers, two-way radios, wireless patient monitors, Wi-Fi, VoIP and cellular phones.

In other news, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's flagship property in Hong Kong installed InnerWireless' in-building wireless system and distributed antenna, which supports wireless interpersonal and building service applications throughout the hotel. The system also enables wireless communications to continue in the event of a power outage or other emergency situation, according to InnerWireless.
