Jul 14, 2004 12:00 PM

Purcell Systems recently announced the City of Spokane (Wash.) has selected its cabinetry solutions to protect outdoor equipment deployed in the city’s SpokaneHotZone municipal Wi-Fi network. Equipment for the mission-critical communications network will be housed in Purcell’s Remote Access Cabinets, which provide internal climate control, equipment protection and backup power, the company said. Police, fire and emergency medical personnel, as well as businesses and visitors in the city’s downtown sector will use the network.
