Motorola to commence WiMAX trial

Motorola and Vietnam Datacommunications signed an agreement to commence a WiMAX trial in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s two largest cities. The yearlong trial is expected to begin in October 2007. Phase one will cover an urban area in Hanoi and the second phase will cover a similar urban area in Ho Chi Minh City, according to Motorola.
