Children's hospital installs wireless system

Enterprise wireless vendor MobileAccess Networks announced that its Universal Wireless Network has been installed by The Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colo. The in-building wireless LAN (WLAN) offers high-speed data applications for portable laptops and PDAs, voice-over-WLAN, asset tracking and building management systems. The installation will facilitate wireless, mobile computing and communications between physicians, clinicians, specialists and researchers throughout the facility, according to MobileAccess.
