Visto partners to bring push e-mail to China

Visto and Lenovo Chinaweal Systems have partnered to deliver an enterprise-grade, mobile, push e-mail solution to the Chinese market. Lenovo will offer and distribute Visto Mobile’s secure push e-mail service in both English and Chinese languages to businesses throughout China, according to a joint statement.

Avectra offers netForum Mobile

Avectra released netForum Mobile, one of the first association-management software solutions available, said the company. The solution delivers information from within netForum and netForum OnDemand databases to a hand-held device, such as a PDA, so users can access real-time information ranging from contact names to full-length reports.

In-house wireless system supports multi-frequencies

LGC Wireless’ new Fusion SingleStar is an in-building, wireless system supporting multi-frequencies. The system delivers multiple RF frequencies in a single system, which allows building owners to support multiple carriers through existing, active electronics and standard building cabling for zero-loss RF performance, according to LGC.

Tyris names site engineer

Tyris Corp. welcomes Jim Pederson, the company’s newest site engineer for its communications division. Pederson joins the company from American Tower and has more than 35 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
