Aztech Systems’ new walkie-talkies available

Aztech Systems has announced the availability of the latest PMR5000 Walkie-Talkie series for the professional users that include a voice-activated feature and 38 sub-channel “privacy codes,” or Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System (CTCSS).

Other features include an audible ending tone when transmission ends, a battery-power indicator, a keypad lock to prevent settings from being changed accidentally and a maximum communication range of 4.5 km, according to Aztech Systems.

The PMR5000 series launch follows last year’s introduction of Aztech Systems’ entry-level PMR3000R series that is being sold in parts of Europe, Asia and South America.

“We are proud to launch another walkie-talkie series after the success of the entry level PMR3000R model,” Aztech Systems CEO and President Michael Mun said in a prepared statement. “With the availability of this new high end PMR5000 series, we are able to provide a complete range of walkie-talkies to the worldwide market that is looking for a cost effective and simple way to communicate”
