LAS VEGAS–The Forestry Conservation Communications Association — one of four frequency coordinators for public-safety radio certified by the Federal Communications Commission — yesterday unveiled a new fee structure that allows better “apples to apples” comparisons as it competes with other frequency coordinators.
“The schedule is simple, easy to understand and offers competitive rates for frequency coordination to all segments of the public-safety sector,” FCCA President John McIntosh said in a prepared statement. “In addition, FCCA’s processing times are some of the fastest available, typically 10 days or less.”
