Interdigital Communications Corp. this week introduced its Adaptive Interference Management (AIM) line of antennas for wireless local area networks. The antennas incorporate proprietary technologies and are designed to reduce interference, enhance network capacity and coverage, deliver higher data rates and extend battery life, the company said. The antennas use a high-gain steer-able beam to enhance signal quality by allowing terminal devices to transmit and receive signals directionally—toward the desired signal and away from interference—the company added.
