Bird Technologies unveils signal booster

The TX RX Systems division of Bird Technologies Group has added a 700 MHz signal booster to its Signal Booster II product line. The 700 MHz signal booster features card cage modularity, hot-swap amplifier cards, a dual AC/DC power supply and an output level control data log. The device is designed to improve in-building RF coverage for public-safety applications.

In other news, Bird announced it has entered into an agreement with Sydney, Australia-based RF Industries to sell RFI-manufactured base station antennas in North America.
