RFID platform designed to ease integration

SAP AG and Infineon Technologies AG jointly announced this week a radio frequency identification platform that is designed to help companies deploy RFID hardware, devices, tags and software components. The platform is based on SAP’s NetWeaver technology platform and Infineon’s You-R OPEN device integration platform. The new offering is expected to help companies meet current RFID mandates and has been designed to scale in order to meet future applications, the companies said.
