As editor of MRT, Bischoff draws upon his extensive journalism background and technical experience in the communications industry in order to identify the key topics facing the land mobile industry and provide the readers with the key technology know-how solution-driven editorial they need to make the right communication system buying decisions.

Bischoff joined PRIMEDIA’s Telephony magazine in 2000 where he covered regulatory, finance, business and technology topics for Telephony and Wireless Review. He was a major contributor to the news and regulatory sections of Telephony Online and hosted Telephony’s Regulatory Insider newsletter.

Prior to joining Telephony, Bischoff was the communications manager of the International Engineering Consortium, which develops the educational content for the telecom industry’s Supercomm trade show. Before that he was the editor of Outside Business magazine. Bischoff has written for business-to-business publications in various industries and a daily newspaper, and he also was communications manager for the National Sporting Goods Association.
