Checkpoint Systems has introduced the METO mi-4210 RFID, a 13.56 MHz (HF) and EPC-compliant 900 MHz (UHF) thermal RFID printer that supports both basic bar coding and advanced data capture, according to the company. Specifically, the printer allows the use of smart labels to combine both product-specific barcode information and radio frequency data in a single thermal label, by incorporating a radio frequency circuit into the printed label, the company said.
