Transcrypt International, a subsidiary of EFJ, Inc., said it has received a $1.9 million order from a customer in the Middle East for voice security products for a two-way radio system. The order is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of 2005. The name of the customer was not disclosed.

Transcrypt has received a “great deal” of business in the region, as countries have rebuilt their communications systems “with a “high emphasis on security,” said Michael Jalbert, EFJ president and CEO, in a statement.
