Motorola announced yesterday that it has reached an agreement with Tarrytown, N.Y.-based Westcon Group that calls for Westcon to distribute Motorola’s Canopy suite of wireless broadband products and accessories. Westcon will focus initially on North America, according to Motorola. The Canopy product line, which is targeted primarily to enterprises, is “very appealing” to customers seeking to replace their traditional LAN infrastructures with “a more flexible, IP-capable network,” said Anthony Daley, a Westcon senior vice president, in a statement.
