Nov 14, 2007 12:06 PM, - MRT

The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council’s Broadband Working Group compiled a document that offers assistance to public-safety agencies regarding the development of a nationwide interoperable broadband network for public safety agencies, which can be found on its website. It was developed following the decision of the Federal Communications Commission to establish a Public Safety Broadband Licensee, which will be responsible for administering the 700 MHz public-safety broadband segment, according to the council.
