P2T-over-cellular standard confirmed

The Open Mobile Alliance has made available the OMA push-to-talk over cellular (POC) 1.0 Candidate Enabler. According to the alliance, the OMA POC 1.0 enables walkie-talkie functionality amongst multiple mobile phone users. Interoperability testing of the standard is under way.
