Harris to present platform at NENA conference

Jun 27, 2005 12:30 PM

Harris will present a paper on its new H-Class content-delivery platform for public safety at the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) conference this week in Long Beach, Calif.

Utilizing existing broadcast-transmission infrastructure, the Harris platform is designed to provide first-responders with the large bandwidth needed to make “rich media” applications such as video, audio and data a reality.

John Delay, Harris’ director of strategic management for networking and government solutions, will present his white paper, “Platform-Based Content Management and Distribution for Public Safety Applications” tomorrow at 2:45 p.m. at the conference.
