APCO expands legislative effort

The Association of Public-Safety Officials International (APCO) recently announced the launch of the National Legislative Network, which will advocate policies at both the federal and state levels to “protect and promote the interest of public safety,” the association said. Yucel Ors, who recently joined APCO’s Office of Government Affairs, will manage the initiative. Ors recently transferred to Washington, D.C., from APCO’s Daytona Beach, Fla., headquarters.
