APCO invited to participate in UN security seminar

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials said it has been invited to participate in a security seminar to be conducted by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Barcelona, Spain, Sept. 9-11. The seminar will seek to set an agenda for developing a new security-themed international training program. Other public-safety organizations invited to participate include the British Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials and APCO Canada.
