APCO past president George Murray dies

George Murray, president of the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials, International from 1989 to 1990, died February 8 as a result of complications from brain surgery he underwent on January 18. Murray joined APCO in 1976 and served on the organization’s Board of Officers for four years. He is survived by a wife (Joan) and three children. Donations in Murray’s memory may be sent to CARE 155 (Care Center Drive, Livingston, TX 77351) or FCRV’s Scholarship Inc. (76 Gaymore Rd. Pt., Jefferson Station, NY 11776).
