IAC members named

FCC Chairman Michael Powell recently named the 15 members of the re-chartered Intergovernmental Advisory Committee, which will be led by Chairman Jim Dailey, mayor of Little Rock, Ark. The committee will address a variety of telecommunications topics that affect rural and tribal areas, including homeland security and public-safety issues. The FCC created the Local and State Government Advisory Committee (LSGAC)-the IAC’s predecessor-in 1997.
