Updated spectrum chart now available

Mar 5, 2004 12:00 PM

The National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) has updated its spectrum chart, which replaces a 1996 version. The updated chart includes the implementation of agreements reached at World Radio Conferences in 1995, 1997 and 2000, and reflects “significant changes” in the 30 to 300 GHz area, in both terrestrial and satellite services, according to NTIA. However, the chart does not represent the introduction of new unlicensed technologies including ultrawideband and Wi-Fi that have been overlaid among existing radio services. Ordering information can be obtained from the NTIA’s Web site: www.ntia.doc.gov.
