RELM wins $1.25 million contract from state agency

RELM Wireless announced this week it has been awarded a $1.25 million order for BK Radio-brand APCO project 25-compliant digital portable and mobile radios from a state government agency. The identity of the agency was not disclosed. The company said it expects to ship the radios in the first quarter of 2006. The announcement comes a week after RELM said it had received a $1.1 million order from an unidentified federal agency for similar products.
