E911 Institute names Aurora its 2010 outstanding call center

From Public Safety Communications: Aurora, Colo.’s 911 Call Center received the E911 Institute’s “2010 Outstanding 911 Call Center.” The call center received the award for its high level of customer service even in the face of budget cuts, handling of emergency situations and management of new technology.
The center receives about 400,000 calls per year. Last year, the call center’s employees completed a total of 10,400 hours of training on customer service and emergency dispatch procedures. Read the entire article here.
