Oracle, ModUcom, Stancil: Companies demonstrate denial-of-service attack on PSAP, method to combat it

Kevin Pitts of Oracle Communications, Walt Jones of Modular Communications Systems (ModUcom), and Simon Farrow of Stancil Corporation demonstrate how a denial-of-service (DoS) attack can cripple a 911 network, and how an Oracle solution installed in a border-control element in a 911 network can allow a public-safety answering point (PSAP) to return to normal operations quickly after such an attack. The demonstration was conducted on the exhibit-hall show floor at the NENA 2015 Conference & Expo in Denver.
