800 MHz ‘Road Show’ registration deadline looms

The registration deadline for the first 800 MHz Traveling Road Show developed by IWCE—which produces the land mobile radio industry’s largest trade show and conference in Las Vegas each year—is September 24. The event will be held October 1 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City. It will provide an overview of the FCC’s 800 MHz order issued August 6 and the rebanding process, examine various rebanding methods, and offer tips on how to best utilize outside consulting and engineering services. The Road Show will travel to Dallas on October 6, New Orleans on October 22, Washington on October 26, St. Louis on October 29, Orlando on November 5 and Las Vegas on November 15.
