BIO-key submits tender offer for biometric ID developer

BIO-key, which develops mobile wireless technologies for first-responders, has offered $1.29 per share to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of ComnetiX, which provides biometric identification and authentication technologies for enterprise clients. The offer, valued at $18.2 million, is valid until 9:00 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2007, BIO-key said.
