IEEE announces RFID conference

On March 27-28, 2007, the first IEEE International Conference on radio frequency identification technology, dubbed IEEE RFID 2007, will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. The conference will address security issues; systems analysis; antennas design and analysis; location systems; and component design and analysis. There also will be an “RFID in Health Care” luncheon panel that will discuss the challenges and opportunities of RFID technology in health care and its implications on government policy, according to the IEEE.
