Medical center uses RFID to track esophageal reflux

Dallas-based UT Southwestern Medical Center has developed a system that uses electrical impulses to track esophageal reflux. The wireless monitoring system uses radio frequency identification technology combined with impedance monitoring, which tracks reflux through electrical impulses, according to the medical center.
