U.S. agency deploys RFID

The U.S. Social Security Administration is using Intermec’s radio frequency identification technology, the company announced. The agency implemented a paperless, warehouse-management control system upgrade that integrates Intermec’s IP3, IP4 and 1555 portable RFID readers and PM4i printers with RFID software.
