Symbol launches new RFID reader

Symbol Technologies launched the RD5000, a mobile Gen 2 RFID reader that can be mounted on a forklift in conjunction with the company’s VC5090 vehicle-fixed-mount computer. The reader features cable-free operation, an integrated antenna, Bluetooth technology and wireless connectivity, according to the company.
