VoIP provider adds RFID

Voice-over IP and data communications solutions provider NEC Unified Solutions has enhanced its Univerge Assured Mobility portfolio for wireless LAN deployments with the addition of Wi-Fi compliant radio frequency identification, or RFID, technology. The new solution lets hospitals staff track and locate tagged equipment and patients, according to the company.
