China postal service chooses RFID to track mail

Symbol Technologies landed a contract with the China Post, which will use the company's rugged, reusable radio frequency identification tags, XR400 fixed reader, antennas and MC9000 mobile computers. This system will let the post office automatically track mail-bags from individual post offices to various collection centers, according to the company.
