Detention facility uses RFID to track juveniles

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Alanco Technologies will provide a Wi-Fi-compatible, RFID inmate-tracking system for the Indianapolis, Ind.-based Marion County Juvenile Detention Center. The system is valued at $650,000, according to the company.
