Agere licenses Cognio RF link management technology

Cognio announced that Agere Systems has licensed its Intelligent Spectrum Management capability for next generation wireless networking . The patented technology provides direct real-time monitoring of Wi-Fi radio links, identifies and helps mitigate interference, and monitors all on-channel signals and reports on their affects on link reliability and capacity, according to Cognio.
