eXI unveils dual RFID-barcode solution

Canada-based eXI Wireless announced a dual RFID-barcode solution for mobile asset management and tool tracking. The solution will allow users to track their assets with barcodes and RFID tags simultaneously and within the same system, the company said. It also gives users flexibility without having to make the massive investment in infrastructure that would be needed to convert from bar codes to RFID all at once, the company said.
