RFID system developer to create customer ID cards, key fobs

Jul 16, 2004 12:00 PM

MyVigo Corp. recently announced it would develop a point of service system, including customer identification cards and key fobs, which would be marketed to retailers in the U.S. and Canada. Integrates Business Systems and Services will design and develop the cards and key fobs using the company’s Synapse software platform; IBSS also will provide initial data center support for MyVigo’s POS system. The cards and key fobs will contain personalized customer information—including purchasing history—that can be used by retailers to identify and better serve their preferred customers, according to MyVigo.
