Taiwan chooses Advanced ID’s RFID technology

The Government of Taiwan has chosen Advanced ID Corp. to develop a radio frequency identification (RFID)-based national identification system for the country’s livestock industry, the company announced today. All cattle in Jinmen province will be identified using Advanced ID’s RFID tags. The company said it is the only company that has been invited to participate in the development of the national ID system and estimated the Taiwanese market represents potential annual revenues of $25 million.
