Tyson Foods to trial Advanced ID’s RFID Solution

Advanced ID Corp. announced that Tyson Foods, in conjunction with Alberta Agriculture - Food and Rural Development, would conduct a trial of Advanced ID's RFID livestock identification technology. The trial will include the identification of about 1000 head of cattle at Tyson facility in Brooks, Alberta. Alberta Agriculture also will monitor the reading range and retention of Advanced ID's RFID cattle tags within the feedlot and processing plant facilities, and report these results to the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency.
