Motorola offers asset- and performance-management services

Motorola announced asset- and performance-management services tailored to wireless communications-systems managers who want to optimize networks and equipment performance. According to the company, the service includes software that tests automated systems to determine preventative maintenance and repair cycles, logs service and repair histories, and aids inventory management. Customers also can use the application to track and schedule technology upgrades.
