Aeroflex named test-and-measurement company of the year

Jun 3, 2005 12:06 PM

Financial consultancy Frost & Sullivan named Aeroflex its 2005 communications test-and-measurement company of the year. The firm cited Aeroflex’s overall 56% revenue growth for fiscal 2004 as the primary factor.

The firm was most impressed with the 47% gain-to $249 million in fiscal 2004 from $170 million in fiscal 2003-reported by the company’s test solutions group, calling the performance “stunning.” In addition, Aeroflex’s company-wide gross margin reached 46.5% for fiscal 2004.

Also cited was Aeroflex’s ability to acquire complementary companies with minimal overlap, which Frost & Sullivan said resulted in “synergies across various functional areas such as sales, product development and distribution."
