While the initial focus of the effort to build the first nationwide broadband communications network for first responders will be on network design, already thought is being given to the devices that will operate on this vital network.
In this event, a panel of experts will explore the myriad challenges that vendors face, including: engineering public-safety-ready devices and managing development costs, as well as time-to-market and ecosystem issues. The panel also will consider how these factors will affect the user community, particularly in terms of procurement, functionality and cost.
