On-Demand Webinar: Getting prepared for narrowbanding

Oct 28, 2009 3:00 PM

The FCC has mandated that land mobile radio systems on spectrum between 150 MHz and 512 MHz be able to operate in 12.5 kHz-wide channels or equivalent efficiency instead of 25 kHz-wide channels by 2013 to better utilize the spectrum that is available to such agencies.

Are you prepared to meet this deadline? This webinar will fully explain this requirement, clear up common misconceptions and answer the most frequently asked questions.

It also will present strategies from communications experts on how to best execute the transition. This webinar is a must for any public-safety communications official responsible for executing the narrowband migration.

Presenters: Mark E. Crosby, President/CEO, Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA)
Ralph Haller, Chairman, National Public Safety Telecommunications Council
Tracy Simmons, Branch Chief-Policy Division, Federal Communications Commission
Roberto Mussenden, Attorney-Policy Division, Federal Communications Commission
