XM1202 Reference designs available
LS Research, Mountain View, Calif., and Xemics, Neuchatel, Switzerland, have teamed up on the XM1202 reference designs so a customer can take the design and drop it right onto their PCB or build a separate module with the confidence it meets FCC/CE/ETSI certification. An FCC-compliant 915 MHz reference design module for the XE1202 is targeted for North America.
The XE1202 design can operate in European (868MHz-870 MHz) and North American (902 MHz-928 MHz) bands as well as Asian frequencies and is backward compatible to the XE1201A transceiver operating in the 433 MHz bandwidth.
The XE1202 can transmit and receive data from as low as 4.8 kbps up to 76.8 kbps. RF output power can be programmed up to +15 dBm (31.5mW) and current consumption while in reception mode is 12mA.
