MyDealerLot this week introduced a Web-based Wi-Fi solution that uses radio frequency identification technology in conjunction with an automotive dealer’s existing wireless network to provide an “always-on” view of the dealership’s inventory. The solution pinpoints vehicle location to “within several feet,” and lets dealerships track test-drives and more effectively manage inventory storage, according to the company.
