‘Opt-in’ decisions give public safety in all states the option of using FirstNet immediately
Public-safety agencies and personnel in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands are eligible to subscribe to FirstNet broadband services from AT&T after all governors facing the Dec. 28 deadline made “opt-in” decisions to accept the FirstNet deployment for their states and territories.
