Small Business in Telecommunications picks St. Louis for national fall conference

Small Business in Telecommunications, a Washington-based membership organization, will conduct its national fall conference Oct. 23–25 at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis.

SBT describes itself as the only telecommunications association exclusively devoted to small business.

The conference program will cover 800 MHz rebanding, marketing to the public safety community, UHF and VHF trunking opportunities, the changing face of the tower industry and wireless data systems.

Additional topics include the availability of MPT 1327 trunking equipment, the effects of capital expenditures on local business, a resurgence in demand for dispatch communications and how to tap into the demand for homeland security.

The conference also will cover upcoming FCC auctions, increased FCC enforcement efforts, exposure to harmful levels of RF and employee training.
