RELM reports small sales, earnings gains for Q3

RELM Wireless Corp. reported sales for the third quarter 2004 of $5.2 million, compared to $5.0 million for the same quarter last year. Third quarter net income increased about $200,000 to $500,000, or 4 cents per diluted share. The company said its year-to-date sales were up 9.2% over the previous year, totaling $15.1 million; the company reported sales of $13.8 million for the same period last year. Net income for the year-to-date was $1.2 million, or 11 cents per diluted share, compared to $36,000 for the same period last year.
